What is Flex, and what is its relationship with Invizi?

Invizi has partnered with Flex so qualifying customers can use their Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for products at checkout. This means qualifying customers can use their HSA or FSA debit card to buy Invizi products with pre-tax dollars and save an average of 30%.*

*Savings are based on the tax bracket of the individual. Examples are illustrative only; consult a professional advisor or visit fsafeds.gov/support/savingscalculators.

Eligibility depends on your circumstances and your plan. See withflex.com/legal/disclosures.

What is an HSA or FSA?

A Health Savings Account (HSA) and a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) let you set aside pre-tax money for qualified medical expenses. Your plan administrator can tell you your balance and what your plan covers.

What is a qualifying customer?

Eligibility is determined per customer, not by the product alone. When you choose Flex at checkout, you complete a brief telehealth consultation, and a licensed provider reviews it to confirm whether you qualify to pay with your HSA or FSA. Not all customers qualify, and FSA eligibility may vary by employer plan.

How do I pay with my HSA or FSA card?

To use your HSA or FSA debit card, add products to your cart as usual. At checkout, select "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA" as your payment option, enter your HSA or FSA debit card, and complete your checkout as usual.

I don't see Flex at checkout. Why not?

If you don't see "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA", you may be in Shop Pay. Select "Checkout as guest" to view more payment options. Logging out of Shop Pay or using a private browser window also works.

What if I don't have my HSA or FSA card with me?

If you don't have your HSA or FSA card handy, still select "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA" as your payment method. Enter your credit card information and log in to the consumer portal at withflex.com/portal using the same email you used at checkout to download an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.

What is a Letter of Medical Necessity?

Some products require documentation from a licensed healthcare provider stating that the item is necessary to treat or manage a specific medical condition. If the product requires a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), Flex facilitates a chat-based telehealth consultation that is reviewed by a licensed provider, and typically the Letter is provided within 2 hours.

Why do I need to provide health information?

In order to qualify to use your HSA or FSA card for Invizi products, the IRS requires you to have a Letter of Medical Necessity. Invizi has partnered with Flex to enable telehealth visits as part of our checkout. A licensed provider will review your consultation, and within 2 hours of your purchase, you can log in to the consumer portal at withflex.com/portal using the same email you used at checkout to download your Letter of Medical Necessity and itemized receipt.

Your answers go to Flex and its licensed telehealth partners. We never see your health information.

Do I need to do anything with my Letter of Medical Necessity?

You should keep it on file for at least three years in the event of an IRS audit of your HSA or FSA account. Occasionally, FSAs may ask for the Letter to confirm the eligibility of your purchase.

Why is my HSA or FSA card being declined?

HSA/FSA cards are debit cards, and the most common reason for declines is insufficient funds. Reach out to your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm your balance.

I didn't get an email from Flex with my receipt or Letter. What now?

Log in to the consumer portal at withflex.com/portal with the email you used at checkout to download them. If you still can't find them, email support@withflex.com.

Can I use more than one HSA or FSA card?

Not at the moment. You can pay with a credit card on the Flex checkout page instead, then download your itemized receipt and Letter of Medical Necessity from withflex.com/portal to submit for reimbursement.

Is sales tax covered?

Sales tax for eligible items is also covered by HSA/FSA funds. If you have a split cart, the tax is divided among the cards based on the items.

My HSA or FSA claim was denied. What now?

Employer-sponsored FSAs can decide which products are eligible beyond the IRS's guidelines, so we recommend checking with your plan administrator before you buy. Keep your Letter of Medical Necessity and itemized receipt handy in case your plan asks for them.

Eligibility depends on your circumstances and your plan. See withflex.com/legal/disclosures.
